3/28/2012 DE: Hodgepodge Edition

This is the hodgepodge DE.  That means random stuff.  Here goes.

the Mariners won today!!!! 1-0! woohooo!

List your 5 favorite movies.

My favorite muppet is probably Fozzie Bear because I have an affinity for terrible jokes.  Wacka wacka wacka!!

My favorite episode of The Wonder Years is hard to choose and ends up being a tie between the pilot, the one where Mr. Collins dies, and maybe the one with Margaret Farqua.

Kevin Arnold was a big jerk.

I’m finding that when trying to think up random stuff, all I can muster is my own opinions on televisual media.  I think this means I need to expand my horizons or something.

Are you surprised I haven’t mentioned baseball yet?  I am.

I don’t have a favorite baseball player.

This is getting tedious for me.

I enjoy red pepper flakes in my eggs.  I am good at making fried egg sandwiches.

My favorite suit of cards is probably clubs.  What is yours?

My 5 favorite movies are Raiders of the Lost Ark, No Country for Old Men, Back to the Future, The Karate Kid, and I always have a difficult time choosing a fifth.  It often changes.  Today I’ll go with…..Unforgiven.  Next time some asks me that fifth choice will probably be different.

My least favorite vegetable is peas.  I have no favorite vegetable.  I most enjoy eating carrots that are fresh picked from a garden, washed under a faucet, and still have a little dirt on them.  This preference exists because of strong ties to my childhood.  For a long time, I didn’t even like carrots.  Weird.

I am willing to bet no one has read this far.

If I could only have 5 books for the rest of my life they would be the Bible, the collected short stories of Flannery O’Connor, The Passion by Jeanette Winterson, the collected poems of Emily Dickenson, and The Little Prince.

I would gladly cut off two of my fingers if it meant I had written The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.  Maybe even two fingers and two toes.

This is less a random DE than facts about me. How boring. Oh well, no one read this anyway.
